The Tony Hotel South Beach

I'll get into details of the property below, but the service was second to none. Masma and David were the sweetest, most patient, and helpful. They let us into our rooms early when we arrived off our cruise ship and didn't have a problem with us waiting in their lobby until we could early check in. Then, when my mother fell sick the morning of check out, the accommodated a later than usual checkout ON A FRIDAY NO LESS. This was a week long cruise vacation for us and no one was kinder than the staff at this hotel. The rooms were cute. Definitely older, so expect some blemishes and some creaks and sounds from the plumbing, but it was cute, clean, and functional. The bathroom was huge with very hot water for a lovely bath. It is situated just off the beach and as guests, we got free admission to Wynwood art gallery and some beach perks (free chairs and towels). Lots of great places in walking distance. I recommend La Fleur for delicious coffee and fresh beignets (no service charge fees) - it's just around the block from the hotel. They held our bags for a small fee and allowed us to continue using hotel amenities like the pool and showers the rest of the day. So helpful, courteous, and kind.

We enjoyed our stay at the Tony Hotel! The best part about the Tony was the staff - everyone was so warm and friendly, and they gave us personalized recommendations about what to do in Miami. They even remembered us later and asked if we did those things! The location is also great. Rooms were overall ok - they were clean, a good size, but a bit outdated.

Went to the hotel with my siblings and had an excellent time. The hotel was in excellent and clean condition, and looked just like the photos had showed it. The lobby was arranged perfectly and gave an excellent fresh and new vibe when entering. The staff worked tirelessly to ensure the stay was welcoming and accommodating. There was an older gentleman who also was helpful in giving advice about surrounding activities and means of transport. The staff in the pool was also extremely helpful and accommodating, going the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable in the rainy environment. Food was also prepared excellently as well. Our rooms were kept extremely clean by the housekeeping staff, and they were extremely kind and accommodating to all concerns and matters. The bartender in the lobby was amazing at making drinks, and made some of the best drinks I’ve ever had and he also kept the environment nice and welcoming. Front desk staff were also extremely kind and professional, ensuring they were efficient in all matters. Hotel security and facilities were also excellent. Overall very pleasantly surprised with the experience. The rooms were a little bit smaller than we usually book, but with the activities available, it didn’t seem as important. Job well done on Tony Hotel, the staff and the management.

Was at the Tony hotel at pool rooftop food & wine weekend. Bartender Anderson was amazing great with the drinks. The concierge Jamie in the lobby gave us some recommendations that were out of this world. Restaurant recommendations on where to go and what to do, was absolutely helpful and accommodating. Thank you so much Jamie we’ll be here at the Tony hotel to stay on our next stay. My stay was awesome with exceptional service. First time and definitely looking forward to come back on my next stay.

Location brilliant, all staff were great, helpful and friendly. The place is spotlessly clean. View from pool deck and front balcony room (2nd photo), you’re in the heart of the action. Room and bathroom very spacious. Music from news cafe below balcony rooms starts around 8.15am, in case you’re a light sleeper who likes a lie in. Not a problem otherwise as very quiet at night.

Location and view with ocean views were excellent. Service from the entire team was top notch. Our concierge David was exceptional. Art deco vibe is pretty cool. Roof top pool and happy hour was fun and relaxing. Beds are comfy and nice shower. Rooms are a bit dated. Would stay here again.

Stayed two nights in an Oceanfront Balcony King and absolutely loved it. Fantastic location and massive room with a terrace overlooking Ocean Drive - great for ocean views and people watching. Spent several relaxing hours on the rooftop by the pool - a perfect Zen atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Stayed at The Tony recently and had the best time! The whole staff is wonderful and David is an absolute treat. If you enjoy staying somewhere with history and character, you will love it here. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and truly transportive. A few small upgrades to the rooftop furniture would really elevate the experience but the views and overall vibe are great.
